Begging for Food

So, everytime you're eating your dog just sits there and stares at you until you give her some food. Maybe she even whines and gets angry at you a bit. The truth is she does it because it works. You or someone else she knows gives in everytime. To stop her from begging for food you have to stop giving into your guilt and completely cut her off from food that you are eating. If you want to feed her some of your food you can always put some in her bowl after you are done eating. This way she can still have your food and will eventually learn that sitting in front of you and begging has no affect. Persevere and stop giving food altogether and your dog will soon forget about begging and it will probably be better for everyone. In addition to this your dog will be more likely to eat dry Dog Food which is much healthier for her.

It will probably be really difficult to get other people who live with you to do the same. Even if people agree to do it you might see them sneaking in a little bite every now and then. If your dog would ignore it when you ate potato chips all the time and then one day sat in front of you it's safe to say someone else started feeding her potato chips. If your dog stops coming to you and goes to someone else, you know who's feeding her.
