How do I stop my puppy from peeing in the house?

How do I stop my puppy from chewing everything he finds?
Teach your puppy the "Leave it!" command.
Should I get a puppy?
Getting a puppy is a huge commitment. A dog will require your effort and attention everyday for over a decade. If you really want to know what you're getting into see our section on What To Expect.
What should I do if I can't stand my puppy anymore?
First off, you should understand that a lot of the bad behavior your puppy does will go away with training and time. If you are experiencing difficulties or other problems I highly recommend hiring a professional such as a Canine Behaviorist. If you really can't have your puppy anymore find someone to adopt him. You can advertise on the internet, the paper and anywhere you can think of. Talk to people you know because you never know when someone is looking for a puppy. Please make sure you find someone responsible, intelligent and make sure they understand how big of a commitment it is. The final option is an animal shelter but please try to find someone who can take care of your puppy first. If the animal shelter can't find an owner for a puppy the puppy might be put down. In addition, if you do leave your puppy with an animal shelter please make a donation to the shelter.
Why does my dog panic and misbehave when I'm not around?
There could be many causes for this. First off, you have to understand that before you got your puppy he was around half a dozen other puppies and his mom 24/7. It's extremely hard on your puppy to be so lonely all the time. Try not to leave a dog alone for too long. You can always hire a dog walker to come and walk your dog in the middle of the day if he is alone a lot. It is very possible your dog is experiencing separation anxiety. You can read about it here: Separation Anxiety. It is also important that you puppy proof your house so there is nothing serious your dog could destroy and nothing that can harm your dog.
Is my dog sick?
I don't know, I'm not a veterinarian and it's not easy to figure it something like that out online. Call your veterinarian and explain the symptoms your dog is experiencing. If your dog is collapsing you should definitely go to an animal hospital or veterinarian.
Should I breed my dog?
Definitely not. Breeding a dog is a big deal and there are way too many dogs on this planet in shelters and without homes. In addition to this finding a home for a puppy can be very difficult and there can be complications at birth. I highly recommend you Spay or Neuter your dog as it will prevent unnecessary births and make your dog calmer and easier for everyone to get along with.
What breed is my dog?
That's a tough one. You can see a list of the most common breeds at the Just Dog Breeds website. However if you can't find out by asking around it is likely your dog is a mixed breed, an uncommon breed or has unusual features for his breed. There are services out there that can do DNA testing on your dog that can determine his ancestry. Ask your veterinarian or do some research online. There are many sites and packages online and in stores the process isn't too expensive. However it is important to note that the accuracy of these tests aren't perfect and DNA testing is still in its infant stages.
What should I do if I have to go away for a few days?
Search google for dog boarding facilities in your area. If you talk to your veterinarian or someone in a Doggy Daycare you will probably be able to easily find someone locally.
